My Journey from Designer to Inventor

When I started my career as an Industrial Designer, I had the privilege of working with Silicon Valley startups and Fortune 500 companies, helping them bring groundbreaking products to market. Over the years, I honed my expertise in product development, ergonomics, and manufacturing, earning two IDEA Gold Awards along the way.

But my perspective on the invention process changed dramatically when I embarked on a personal journey to bring my own product, the LensLifter Eyewear Holder, to market.

Unlike working for corporations, where resources and teams are readily available, developing my own invention was a solo endeavor. I had to navigate every step—from refining the idea and filing for a patent to designing packaging and negotiating with manufacturers. It was exhilarating but also overwhelming at times.

This experience gave me a deep appreciation for the challenges individual inventors face. I realized how crucial it is to have the right guidance, whether it’s conducting market research, creating a viable prototype, or deciding whether to manufacture or license your product.

At Invent2Market, my goal is to make this process less daunting for others. By combining my professional expertise with my personal experience as an inventor, I aim to help others turn their ideas into successful products, just as I did with LensLifter. Whether you’re just starting or stuck at a crossroads, I’m here to help you navigate the complexities of invention and bring your vision to life.
